During my junior year at University of Illinois, I was an art director at Midnight Oil – a student-run advertising agency at the University of Illinois. My group's client for the year was Ye Olde Donut Shoppe. Ye Olde Donut Shoppe has been serving doughnuts in Champaign, IL since 1956. Our goal at Midnight Oil was to market Ye Olde to college students while maintaining the history and vintage feel of the brand. I collaborated with my team and achieved this goal by redesigning the menu, creating billboards, designing promotional materials for an event on campus, and increasing the company's presence on social media with the "12 Days of Donuts" campaign.
